860C versus 850C

......Advantages...... ......Disadvantages......
860C
  • much better screen light/colors/gama that improves reading on outdoors (even more important for when using sunglasses)
  • bigger screen of 3.5 inches (although the resolution is the same)
  • buttons
    • 4 buttons instead of 3 buttons, meaning easier navigation
    • buttons are more robust
  • water resistance seems to be improved
  • the display is even bigger on width and height
  • for developers only: can not be opened without serious damage to the enclosure and risky to damage the board, that is needed to access to the JTAG debug connections
850C
  • for developers only: relatively easy to open the enclosure and access to the JTAG debug connections
  • the screen quality light/colors/gama seems somehow old technology
  • easy to permanently damage the UP/DOWN buttons by pulling them from the side by accident
