StartCom is a software house and solution provider, located in the south of Israel. It is the vendor and producer of the StartCom Linux operating system. StartCom developes applications and web-based solutions for its customers, specialized in Linux related implementations and operates MediaHost™ since 1999. In addition to that, StartCom operates also the StartCom Free SSL Certification Autority since the beginning of 2005.
