Instructions
-
Screw Objective Lens (A) into DIN/C-Mount Adapter (B) so that the outer screw thread faces away from the lens.
-
Attach Adapter to female connector of C-Mount 40mm Tube (C).
-
Remove the retaining ring from the Lens Mount (D) - this may require a flat-head screwdriver to unscrew it from inside.
-
Place the Biconvex Lens (E) into the Lens Mount (D), being careful not to scratch it.
-
Reattach the retaining ring to the Lens Mount, ensuring it keeps the lens firmly in place.
-
Now attach the female connector of the Lens Mount (D) to the Objective and 40mm Tube assembly (A-C).
-
Attach the 10mm Tube (F) followed by the Adjustable Length Tube (G).
-
The Optical Assembly can now be attached to the microscope structure using the 3-D printed clamp.
-
The Raspberry Pi Camera Module (with lens removed) can be attached using the 3-D printed connector.
-
The Adjustable Length Tube can be adjusted until a focussed image is formed when the object is an appropriate distance from the objective.
