Description

The REG1-Module-Case is part of the OpenKNX-REG1 system and allows to use the REG1-Controller2040 not only as controller on DIN-Rail but also in a smaller module case.

On the bottom there are optional holes for accessing Prog, Reset und Bootloader Switches and the Prog-LED.
Micro-USB is accessible from the side.

Final assembly

When used in this case, on the REG1-Controller2040 that parts must be soldered by the user:

  • J100 - soldering pins for the KNX connector
  • GN100 - 01x07 2.54mm pin header for connecting the NanoBCU
  • J200 - 01x04 3.5mm THT screw terminal for I/O
  • SW100 - Prog Switch
  • SW101 - Bootloader Switch
  • SW102 - Reset Switch
  • LED100 - 0805 SMD LED (on the top side of the LED, cathode (-) is marked green. This side must be oriented to the closed side of the printed U around the footprint)
  • R100 - 0805 1k SMD resistor
optional:
  • R109/R110 - 0805 SMD resistor for I/O
optional part placement is defined by the application.
