Hackathon Judging Criteria and Tools - OpenDataforWeb3/Resources GitHub Wiki

With each hackathon we are seeking to become more transparent and more community driven.

In the January 2023 DataBuilders hackathon we circulated internally some criteria for how judges might want to assess submissions. Also - one of the judges from FDD has contributed a checklist that they are using in assessing especially the documentation pieces of each bounty.

If you are interested in the criteria that was circulated for feedback before being shared with all of the judges, you can take a look at the following spreadsheet which also includes all of the submissions. As mentioned elsewhere, the judges are encouraged to "fork" or copy these spreadsheets to help them in their assessment of each submission.

In addition, the following checklist was provided by a judge from the Gitcoin FDD. They are using it to go deeper in their analysis and this approach could help all of the judges in comparing the submissions:

For the mid to late April hackathon we could further improve our transparency. For example, we could link to this page or to an updated version of this page in all of the bounties, thereby ensuring that all contestants know in more detail the criteria by which their submissions will be judged.
