  • Sandbox projects - Grants & Sybil review

    • what blockers do we have?

    • Baoki to demo the work Gitcoin doing re: Grants screening and their preferred UI framework

  • Data stack -

    • Gitcoin has their stack inflight; they have contracted with TJ to help them
    • New issue & bounty to help accelerate our work; maybe we can get TJ to help us as well ($$?)
    • related - new - FDD from Gitcoin has suggested we take on:

      - I suggest we step back a level and think through whether we want to start to build a library of useful training sets - for eg - what if we got Thor and Loki from FDD and updated them over time - and kept them "safe" via Ocean? - just an idea - we could fork Ocean & we will have our own subdomain on Ocean going forward; we can also improve our site of course - note that this c/d also include a listing of the Legos - in addition to the not well utilized docs on our site (now available via our Chat bot)

Notes:

Competition vs. cooperation w Gitcoin

Main difference:

• we focus on supporting Legos
• Gitcoin process & workflow focuses on the primary process

Use of Redash Stakeholders could also be other round owners - in both cases Plugability of pipelines might be a crucial piece of what we are doing Is it as simple as Gitcoin = UX designers & persona focused folks

OpenData Community - data science & which Legos would be useful Are they building in open source? Our update: (paraphrasing @stefi_says )

Did Kikura agree to let us use its hackathon contribution? I still don't see any license file in its github
