Sandbox

2 kinds of sandbox projects

• already established one for example TrueBlocks @epowell101 and Sarob outreach meeting on Thursday.
• Hackathon sandbox, continue working through the miro board

Grant reviews

Has existed for a long time, manual review. more urgent

• team FDD is incorporated into other workstreams.
• many more grants because permissionless
• Software that helps screen grantees in a sandbox project(s)
• most projects don't use quadratic funding but anyone can use another mechanism in all cases are they real grantees? Opportunity to proactively review grants

Events/outreach

Some community members are at ETH Denver this week. @stefi ETH Rio ETH Samba applied to have a talk Allocation of funds for people who can give a talk, represent the community, or even attend. Retroactive funding round while we don't have governance in place => track participation in events

Governance

Being able to create proposals and vote on them (for example decide about the amount attributed to a talk at an event) @epowell101will write a policy for review

Hackathon platform

Gitcoin retired their platform Buildbox was launched by supermodular and kind of replaced Gitcoin Hackathon We can still look for another platform to run the

ODC could participate as a team to start a new sandbox project and potential funds. https://ethglobal.com/events/scaling2023 @poupou will reach out to the organizer and we will talk about it at the sandbox meeting on Friday. Deadline 5th of March.
