Finding UE4SS.log - Okaetsu/CreativeMenu GitHub Wiki

If the troubleshooting steps don't work for whatever reason, then join the Discord Server if you haven't already and provide a UE4SS.log (Text Document) file in the #help channel. Steps on finding the UE4SS.log can be found below.

Note that if you don't see a UE4SS.log file despite following any of the steps here then you most likely didn't install UE4SS properly and if this is on a server and it's being hosted by a third party then chances are that provider doesn't support UE4SS, assuming you installed it on the server correctly.

Finding UE4SS.log on a Dedicated Server (Third Party Host)

This one is a little more difficult because every server provider probably has a different folder structure so generally look for the folder that has Pal, Engine folders and PalServer.exe in it.

  1. Navigate to Pal\Binaries\Win64 and you should see a UE4SS.log.

If you're unable to find the Win64 folder then that means your provider is limiting your control and you should switch to a better provider.

If you can't find UE4SS.log then if you're 100% sure you installed UE4SS correctly and you see a UE4SS.dll and dwmapi.dll in the Win64 folder then that means your provider is blocking you from running UE4SS in which case, switch to a better provider.
