Raspberry Pi 4 and Navigator Controller

  1. You mount the Navigator Controller on the Raspberry Pi 4 using the instructions given by Blue Robotics.
  2. You assemble the Raspberry Pi 4 on the electronics tray using stands.
  3. Take a spare USB-C cable (rated for 5W) and solder its ends onto the PDB. Connect the USB-C to the RPi4.
  4. Flash the SD card using Configuration Steps and connect the SD card. Make sure to use SanDisk cards (present in parts list) to prevent memory corruption on abrupt shutdowns.

Nvidia Jetson Nano

  1. Just like the Raspberry Pi 4, mount the Nano on the electronics tray using the stands.
  2. IMPORTANT: Use a high-rated Barreljack connector for powering the Nano. Using a low-rated Barreljack or a Micro-USB cable can limit current draw and your ML inference power. Again, solder the ends of the Barreljack onto the PDB.
  3. Flash the SD card using Configuration Steps.
