Aggregation functions are used to aggregate data items between different domain units.

  • count
  • count_uint8 - is the count variant resulting in a uint8 data item
  • count_uint16 - is the count variant resulting in a uint16 data item
  • count_uint32 - is the count variant resulting in a uint32 data item
  • count_uint64 - is the count variant resulting in a uint64 data item
  • sum
  • sum_float64 - is the sum variant resulting in a float64 data item
  • sum_int8 - is the sum variant resulting in a int8 data item
  • sum_int16 - is the sum variant resulting in a int16 data item
  • sum_int32 - is the sum variant resulting in a int32 data item
  • sum_int64 - is the sum variant resulting in a int64 data item
  • sum_uint8 - is the sum variant resulting in a uint8 data item
  • sum_uint16 - is the sum variant resulting in a uint16 data item
  • sum_uint32 - is the sum variant resulting in a uint32 data item

  • min_ifdefined - (20.10.0 and later) minimum of the defined values, null for groups without any defined value
  • max_ifdefined - (20.10.0 and later) maximum of the defined values, null for groups without any defined value
  • min_alldefined - (20.10.0 and later) minimum, null for groups with any null value (or without values)
  • max_alldefined - (20.10.0 and later) maximum, null for groups with any null value (or without values)

  • modus_count_uint8 - is the modus_count variant resulting in a uint8 data item
  • modus_count_uint16 - is the modus_count variant resulting in a uint16 data item; up to GeoDMS 20.13 registered as modus_count_uint17 (typo, see GeoDMS issue 1173)
  • modus_count_uint17 - (sic) the misspelled registration name of the uint16 variant up to GeoDMS 20.13
  • modus_count_uint32 - is the modus_count variant resulting in a uint32 data item
  • modus_count_uint64 - is the modus_count variant resulting in a uint64 data item

  • unique_count_uint8 - is the unique_count variant resulting in a uint8 data item

  • nth_element - nth element of an ascending sorted attribute
  • nth_element_weighted - rank value based on the ascended weighted attribute
  • rth_element - the r * (n-1)th elements of the ascending sorted attribute. N.B. use this operator for the median.
  • pcount - count the number of entries of a relation in the related domain
  • pcount_uint8 - is the pcount variant resulting in uint8 data item
  • pcount_uint16 - is the pcount variant resulting in uint16 data item
  • pcount_uint32 - is the pcount variant resulting in uint32 data item
  • pcount_uint64 - is the pcount variant resulting in uint64 data item
  • mapping_count - count the number of cells of a grid unit in another grid unit
  • reg_count - count the non null values of an attribute towards a regional level
  • reg_count_uint16 - is the reg_count variant resulting in a uint16 data item
  • reg_count_uint32 - is the reg_count variant resulting in a uint32 data item
  • reg_count_uint8 - is the reg_count variant resulting in a uint8 data item
