Ozgur - Participating to the ORNL Software Expo. Working on a Xolotl exercise to understand how it works.
Sophie - Participating to the ORNL Software Expo. Continuing the merge between the irregular grid branch and the advection branch.

Sophie - Gathering information about the MatSetValuesStencil() so that Barry can optimize it. Fixing the growth on the surface in 2D and 3D.

Sophie - Running GB simulations on Eos. Modifying the preprocessor to have different Petsc options in 1D and 2D/3D.
Ozgur - Reading about Xolotl theory and UQ. Learning the code.

Ozgur - Reading about bayesian inference and cluster dynamics theory. Learning about the irregular grid branch.
Sophie - Fixing the growing surface in 2D/3D that gives retention higher than 100%. Showing the irregular grid branch.

Sophie - Trying to understand why results in 2D depend on the y step size and fixing it.
Ozgur - Continuing to learn about UQ and Xolotl. Trying to run TRIM.

Sophie - Finishing to fix the problem in 2D and 3D that was giving different retention results for different y and z step size. Rerunning grain boundaries simulations.

Sophie - Testing what happens with a temperature gradient and by how much the code is slowed down.

Ozgur - Learning to plot with Python. Simulating different helium energies on tungsten with SRIM.
