1. Login to the wpengine portal
2. Navigate to the environment you want to backup (Usually production)
3. Click on the backup points button
4. click on the create backup button
5. Fill in a meaningful name for the backup and enter your email so you will be notified when the backup is complete.
6. Hit Create backup and wait for the process to complete.
