The Company, (c)ONEstore, KT(c) and LG Uplus(c), carries out service contract, provides various services including payment, member management, marketing, and advertisement, and collects customer information as follows.

The following information may be generated and collected during use of the Service or business operations: Records on Service usage, including suspension and termination

2. Purpose of Use

• Used to verify the identity of the Individual, confirm the Individual’s intention for subscribing to the Service, and verify minors, as well as prevent unlawful use by delinquent members.
• Serves as statistics that provide for the stable provision and improvement of the Service, and shall be used to handle customer inquiries and complaints that occur during Service usage.
• Used for the calculation service and retaining of the records of ecommerce transactions.
• Used for service/event planning and to provide an optimized Service according to user type and country interest.

Retention/Use Period of Personal Information

1. The customer’s Personal Information shall be retained and used only during the Service period. The Personal Information shall be destroyed upon membership withdrawal in order to prevent access to or use of the Personal Information thereafter; provided, however in event that such Personal Information does not need to be retained and kept in accordance with applicable Korean laws and regulations or for the purpose of preventing the illegal or expedient receiving of economic interests such as discount coupons, event benefits, etc. provided by the Service through repetitive subscription and termination of membership of the Service, or any illegal acts in relation thereto such as the illegal use of another individual’s name, the Personal Information that was provided during member subscription shall be retained for twelve (12) month from the date of withdrawal of membership.
2. In the event that it is necessary to retain Personal Information, even the customer already terminated the Service, in accordance with applicable Korean laws and regulations such as the Commercial Code, regulations regarding the protection of consumers in electronic commerce (hereafter referred to as the “E-Commerce Act”), the Electronic Financial Transactions Act, the Specialized Credit Financial Business Act, the Framework Act on National Taxes, the Corporate Tax Act, the Value-Added Tax Act, etc., the Personal Information may be retained for a period of time specified in the law or regulation; provided that access to and use of the Personal Information shall be limited to the applicable reason. The retention periods are as follows:

• 1. If a consent for retention has been separately obtained, the Personal Information shall be retained for the promised period of time.
• 2. Log records, IP address, etc. needed for the provision of data confirming telecommunication: 3 months (Communications Privacy Act)
• 3. Records related to indication/advertisements: 6 months (Electronic Commercial Code)
• 4. Records related to signing or revocation of contracts or offers, etc.: 5 year (Electronic Commercial Code)
• 5. Records related to payments and supply of goods, etc.: 5 years (Electronic Commercial Code)
• 6. Records related to handling of consumer complaints or disputes: 3 years (Electronic Commercial Code)
• 7. Records related to credit information collection/handling and use: 3 years (Regulations regarding credit information use and protection)

3. In the event that the customer requests to view the transaction information that is kept by the Company with the customer’s consent, the company shall promptly take the necessary measures to allow the customer to view and check the information.

Veto and Disadvantage

People have right to disagree with the way we collect and process personal information. If you choose not to provide the information we request, you may be unable to use some of our services.

Language

The parties hereto acknowledge that this Privacy Policy is originally written in the Korean language and this is an English translation of such Korean Privacy Policy, provided for your convenience only. If any discrepancy exists between the Korean and English versions, the Korean version will control.
