Before

Identify one to two agencies who would be interested in participating. Explain to them that this is an opportunity to engage directly with the reuse community, to showcase their data and to learn from the community what they would like to do with it. Reassure them that this is a friendly environment. The participants are not there to be unpleasant to them - they're genuinely enthusiastic and love data. Ask the agencies to send a couple of people who work with the data. This is important - we'll be talking about the detail of the data, so while it's fine to have someone from policy or communications along, we do need someone who knows the data well to answer questions.
Stress that they will be giving a short talk - keep slides to a minimum.
