  • Grouping will evolve into schema snippets that can be combined to describe things. E.g. A library has a:
    • place
    • opening times
    • facilities.

Toilet specification review

  • See spreadsheet comments for more detail.
  • Agreed the 10 character limit will be maintained as a short name but longer field names are allowed. (fixed in sheet)
  • Agreed we'll default to CSV and GeoJSON as open file formats.
  • Agreed not to bound lat and lon values to Australia. (fixed in sheet)
  • Agreed to leave name as is. (fixed in sheet)
  • Agreed to use Boolean instead of string (Yes | No). Note Boolean allow a variety of values to represent true and false. (fixed in sheet)
  • Agreed to include count of toilets (capacity) as an optional field. (fixed in sheet)
  • Consider Lighting as an attribute (and potential reusable schema snippet). (added in sheet)
  • Consider separate adult_change_facility (Yes | No) and changing_place (Blue | Green)
    • Break out lower level details (hoist, table, etc.)

  • Renato suggested that opening hours needs to be more flexible. Team to review how Good Relations do it.

  • Derek to provide conceptual model from interns. Andrew to review this for potential to start defining schema snippets
  • Steve B. to discuss common reference data (e.g. roads, parks, property boundaries, venues) at next meeting
    • many things hang off this reference data - let's agree these as a start to defining schema snippets
