  • Questions from the Community:
    • Timeline and next steps? Editors haven't started work yet, but they are looking into scheduling a meeting perhaps associated with iPres. But the timeline is long because of the nature of digital preservation and how we engage in our work.
    • Suggestion to have a heavy bias toward not making changes. Noted that a similar suggestion was made by Peter Sefton.
    • Multiple OCFL Roots in one application. This was deprioritized because this can be done at the application layer and doesn't necessarily need to be done in the specification. Additionally, some of the elements from that use case has ended up in other use cases. This might also be teased out in an application profile.
    • Question about whether or not an application profile might be an extension. We planned to talk through this in the next Editors meeting. But yes, that is a question is if this is related to extensions.
    • What presentation did the editors submit for iPres. Neil Jefferies submitted a workshop.
