Agenda & Notes

  1. House Keeping Items

    • Any updates to previous action items?
    • Community meeting
    • Release Fixtures?
      • ACTION - Neil will do a PR for Zenodo for fixture, then do a release
  2. Conferences

    • Code4Lib presentation. Arran Griffith is talking with Andrew. Rosalyn could go if he doesn't want to do it.
      • Arran has submitted proposal which includes Andrew
    • CNI presentations
      • Simeon is going to compress the DigiPres presentation for ligntening talks, will forward reference Andrew's
      • Andrew is presenting on Harvard implementation
  3. Spec

    • Issue #620. Provided a comment so Kieran knows we're discussing. Attendees (Neil, Julian, Simeon, Rosalyn) thought we should continue to leave it vague and address in 2.0
      • AGREE - Will defer any change of language to the next version (likely 2.0)
    • Other open issues
  4. Preparing for 2.0 of Spec

    • In person meeting?
      • Simeon: Should we talk to other people and get them involved? Where do we do that? Perhaps expand input on the spec so that we can promote adoption and identify barriers to it.
      • Perhaps we can brainstorm ways of doing this as a group - some of the conferences that we've identified aren't really places to do this (i.e. code4lib, dlf, etc.)
    • Below are some open questions we might want to discuss when we are all present?
      1. Do we need an extensions tag?
      2. Should we review Open Issues for the spec
      3. Should we do a call for Use Cases
      4. When should we identify an in person meeting to begin work?
