Sweet stamping machine

2.1: Introduction

Stamping machine is a machine which reduces human efforts and does the work of stamping on papers and other materials. Stamping technique is also used not only for stamping on papers but also on some other materials like chocolates and sweets for making the impression of their company's Symbol etc., Here in this course we are assigned with the task of making such a machine which stamps on the sweets and chocolates effectively.

These kind of machines are used in the sweet shops and bakeries to stamp the logo of their company or a particular design on the sweet. Though the sweets or chocolates can be stamped manually, its a very tedious work if done for longer duration so if something like automatic sweet stamping machine is designed, it will reduce human effort and the work will also be effective.

An automatic stamping machine basically involves simple processess like moving of the sweet to a section where it will be sensed and stamped and then it will be further moved after stamping is done.

2.2: Basic things involved in designing an automatic stamping machine

2.3: Process of sweet stamping

First the sweet is placed on the moving conveyer belt which is moved with the help of DC motors and the sweet is moved to the stamping section where it is detected by the sensors attached just after the place where stamping takes place and this detection stops the sweet for stamping. The stamping can take place with either a part of the stamping machine is moving and the sweet is stationary or the sweet is moved with the help of pulleys etc., so that the static stamping machine stamps on the sweet. When the stamping is done the sensor detects it and the sweet is moved forward with the help of the conveyer belt and thus the stamped sweet is collected. This process can be continued until desired number of sweets are stamped.
