Keymap Viewer
Sometimes your target host's language isn't as obvious as you wish. Part of the recon phase involves finding out the target host's language. Our Keymap-Finder will help you to identify the Keymap that is in use.
Navigate to [Help] > [Show Keymap Viewer]. After opening the Keymap Viewer, you are not only able to select and view different keymaps. The Keymap Viewer includes a [Find] button, which you can use to identify Keymaps where a known symbol exists at that position on the keyboard.
To start, press the [Find] button, all keyboard positions - or keys - will become blank.
Press one of those empty keys, and the position will turn Red to show it is selected. Next, type a symbol that should exist at that position. Repeat as necessary to further limit potential matches. A symbol placed in that key position will search for matching keymaps automatically, including when a modifier like Shift or AltGr is needed. The more keys you populate, the more the Keymap Finder will narrow down on the potential language.
Beneath the Keymap Viewer, a list of possible matches is presented. When only one is listed, you have a guaranteed match. Whereas if multiple exist, you can use the dropdown menu to check and compare if they match the target Keymap. Once you are satisfied you have a match, note the Locale code for future DuckyScript Payloads (See: DUCKY_LANG command), or press Update to apply as the default Keymap for this browser session if no other Locale is defined.
