Need Statement:

The process of crushing and disposing the used cup has been a difficult task to the human kind. So, the need of the automatic cup crushing bot is required to reduce the work load as it can make it way easier.

It should be durable and must be made up of nontoxic material. It should be cost-effective and should cost under Rs.4000.

Design an Automatic Cup-Crushing machine that aims to be user friendly, hygienic and safe to use. It should capable of crushing paper & plastic cups. It should be portable (Easy to lift and move) & weight of about 2kgs. Its price should not be more than RS. 4000 and should not occupy more space than 5 cubic feet. It should be durable and must be made up of nontoxic material. The machine should crush one cup at a time & should work for 3hrs continuously. It should crush atleast 4 cups per min. It should be capable of sensing the cup, should be capable of indicating completion of crushing operation, and should send the crushed cup to the bin.
