As per the client's need ,a shoe polishing machine is to be prepared that is compact and is of light weight. And the machine should consume minimum amount of time to polish shoe.The machine must stop automatically after polishing. The machine should have an arrangement to clean the dust of shoes before polishing and blink once the polishing is completed and must be able to clean the compartment dirt too.
Overview of the project:In 1st sprint,we have used hand-made sole cleaning brushes to clean the sole of the shoe. One of the brushes rotates with the help of DC motor if 100 rpm,we have used compound gear arrangement to rotate the other brush.In 2nd sprint,we have to sprinkle the liquid polisher on to the brushes,then we have used bevel gears arranged at 90 degrees for the polishing mechanism and this mechanism is connected to a DC motor of 100 rpm for rotating.In 3rd sprint,led blinks as soon the polishing get over,this is an indication to remove the shoe kept on d machine. We also have used an air blower which works on program. The air blower basically blows air and cleans the sole cleaning brushes. This dust gets collected in a removable tray kept below the machine.
Our machine is suitable for polishing shoe size 7,it covers all the sides of the shoe. Also the sole cleaning mechanism cleans the sole of the shoe,making it clean from the bottom too. Sole cleaning helps specially in rainy season when a lot of dirt sticks to the sole of the shoe. Polishing mechanism starts once the liquid polisher is manually applied onto the brushes. LED blinks and indicates to remove the shoe once the polishing gets over. Also it is a bluetooth controlled mechanism, hence there is an app to control our machine which is really easy and user friendly.
