Interaction details:

  1. Material Interaction:Solids,Liquids and gases that flow from one sub system to next.
  2. Energy Interaction:Energy that must be transmitted or shielded between sub systems.
  3. Data Interaction:Signals (tactile,acoustic,electrical,visual,etc.)that must be processed from one sub system to the next.
  4. Spatial Interaction:Geometrical dimensions,degree of freedom,tolerances and constraints that must be maintained between the sub systems.

Explanation: When the shoe is kept on the machine the machine should sense the shoe and give indication so there is data interaction between sub system 1 and 2. After sensing the shoe must be transferred to cleaning part so there is material interaction. After cleaning the shoe must be transmitted to polishing part there is no spatial interaction.
