Intro

Our project uses intellectual property from Wizards of the Coast that is provided by their Open gaming License (OGL) 1.0a and The System Reference Document 5.1 (SRD5) which you can read here.

Which means that our software can only provide content that honor that license. We have therefore chosen the MIT license as a starting point but also added some additional licensing terms to cover the basis of OGL and SRD5 and opening this software up to home-made content, as Races, Classes and other home made features that are not owned by Wizards of the Coast.

What does this mean for you:

If you are considering to redistribute this software with content outside the OGL and SRD5, you need to make sure that you are the owner of that content or that the content is owned by Wizards of the Coast.
