Television Accessories have a very different structure than normal accessories and may not work as you assume. Each television accessory will create a couple of different devices types and picking the correct one will help with controlling your TV.

These are the device types created for each TV Accessory.

  • Television - This is the main node created per TV, and forms the primary control interface.
  • Input Source - These nodes are from the accessory setup screen and allow for changing the name or visibility of an input, they do not control the accessory.
  • Speaker - This node allows control of the TV Volume
