ADF diagnostics - NorESMhub/noresm3_dev_simulations GitHub Wiki

ADF is a diagnostic framework for CAM provided by the Atmosphere Model Working Group (AMWG). We have a NorESM-specific repository branch of ADF on NorESMhub. ADF is based on Python scripts that work with standard CAM output, and a user need only to provide a case-specific config file to run ADF.

Running ADF on the NIRD IPCC node

  1. Activate the conda environment for ADF
conda activate /diagnostics/ADF-env/adf_v0.13

  1. Modify your config file, e.g. config_noresm.yaml

  2. Run ADF

/diagnostics/ADF/src/run_adf_diag --config-file ./config_noresm.yaml

A template config_noresm_ipcc.yaml file is available in the NorESM branch for ADF on NorESMhub.
