Installation
Picking a version
...u got a good pc?
Installing Java
- Install JDK 17 (x64 msi Installer) -> https://www.oracle.com/de/java/technologies/downloads/#jdk17-windows
Launcher Setup
- Install MultiMc -> https://multimc.org/
- For "Maximum memory allocation" choose a value based on your PCs free RAM:
- 2048 (2GB) as bare minimum (vanilla)
- 4096 (5GB) is recommended
- 8192 (8GB) is ideal if you have enough RAM
- Start MultiMc
- Click "Add instance" -> 1.19.2
- Click "Edit instance"
- Click "Install Forge" -> 43.2.6
Adding Mods
- Download the modpack -> https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hMR8Ho8mgjU9CERiDzCsUrTrieDegqMp
- Unpack it
- In MultiMc click on "Minecraft Folder"
- Drag and drop the unpacked modpack into the .minecraft folder
Allocate RAM (if not done yet)
- In MultiMc click on "Settings" > "Java"
- Change "Maximum memory allocation"
- See above for recommended values
Join the server
- Start the game
- If prompted log into your account via Microsoft (new) or Mojang (old)
- Multiplayer -> Add Server -> [ip coming soon]
