Final project goals

Short-Term Goals:

clone the Greene lab template repository
re-organize the website format (sub-pages, headings, structure) to suit our lab's needs
write-up on-boarding files
- Setup and installations
- git tutorial basics
- pushing to lab repos
- maintaining README.md
- Math notation conventions
- Markdown for ongoing paper writing/editing

Useful OpenSource Website publishing platforms

Create a repository for each ongoing research topic in the lab
Setup organization teams and roles via github access priveleges
Finish writing lab website (content - writing, images, citations, buttons, etc.)
Structure the onboarding repository in github and outline lessons

Configure a lab github organization account where all project repos are hosted and maintained by lab members
Develop a comprehensive onboarding program with walkthroughs/demos that teach new members how to properly maintain their code and work

Identified a lab template offered on github. Has auto-citation functionality which is very convenient.
Explored MkDocs for setting up a lab onboarding site (I may simply make an onboarding repository a page on the lab website though)
Downloaded greenelab web template for setting up lab page
Set up an I²SL github organization account (Some cool features: Managing team roles and repository access priveleges)
Started developing I²S Llab webpage
Made our lab's Slack
