On the latest version, there will be a file titled MAS-NSFW_Submod_V*.*.*.zip, with * representing the version number. Click this file to download it.
Open this file and you will find a folder titled game. To make the process easy, we won't delve any further into the zip file.
Close Monika After Story if it is currently running.
Navigate to your local install of Monika After Story. If you are unsure where this is, find the shortcut you use to open Monika After Story, right-click it and select Open file location.
You will notice in your Monika After Story folder there is another game folder. This is what we will be overwriting.
Drag the game folder from MAS-NSFW_Submod_V*.*.*.zip into your Monika After Story folder.
To determine if the install was successful, open the game folder in your Monika After Story folder and then open the Submods folder. If there is no such folder, you did not install it correctly.
You should see a new folder titled NSFW Submod. This means the install was successful.
You can now open Monika After Story again.
How do you get Monika naked?
First you must be at least 18 years old and told Monika as such. You must also have at least had your first kiss with her, and reached at least 2000 affection.
At 400 affection you unlock the Getting nude topic under Repeat conversations -> Sex -> Getting nude
If you are at 1000 affection, you can run this topic once, leave Monika alone for six hours (meaning turn off MAS), and run this topic again to unlock her underwear outfit.
At 2000 affection, if you repeat the line above one more time, it will unlock her naked sprite. You cannot change into it manually once it is unlocked. It only becomes available for topics to use, such as sexting.
How do I sext with Monika?
First you must be at least 18 years old and told Monika as such. You must also have at least had your first kiss with her, and reached at least 1000 affection.
At 400 affection Monika will bring up the Sexting topic under Repeat conversations -> Sex -> Sexting. This will unlock the sexting gameplay mechanic once you reach 1000 affection.
At 1000 affection you can talk to Monika and ask Do you want to sext? under Hey Monika... -> Sex -> Do you want to sext?
I waited 6 hours and the 'Getting Nude' topic isn't unlocking anything. What am I doing wrong?
Make sure that you have fulfilled the criteria in the first question. If you are 18 years old, have had your first kiss with Monika, and reached at least 1000 affection, then move onto the next step.
Check that MAS was closed for 6 hours. Monika needs time while you're away to do this.
Assuming that you did both of these steps and the topic has not unlocked the underwear outfit, then I want you to let me know.
How do I check what affection level I am at?
The easiest way is to go into your Monika After Story folder and open the log folder.
From here, you open up the file named aff_log.log. The number at the very bottom is your affection.
It will look something like this: [2023-02-07 17:47:03]: SAVE | 6969.69696969 with 6969.69696969 in this instance being your current affection.
Please note, you may have multiple aff_log.log files, so if you are unsure which is the correct one, look for the file that has been modified the most recently.
Alternatively, I've been informed there is a submod that you can install which has Monika read out your current affection level.
This is not something I personally use so I'm not 100% sure how well it works, but other users seem to be happy with it so I felt it would be worth noting.
