The 8bitMUSH is a MUD (well, MUSH: "multi-user shared hallucination") with an extraordinary feature: player-created ANSI art (well, [FANSI] art technically) illustrations of in-game locations, characters and objects. A number of ANSI illustrators in the Mist revival sphere, most notably LDA, cut their [textmode art] teeth drawing for this game.
