(Crowkeeper tried to get us to move to the DALNet with channel and nick protection, but that simply isn't where and how artscene business was conducted.) [Ops] were distributed and the channel was managed by a series of [eggdrop bot]s, including the homophonic Mr_Gris, Mrs_Degree and daGRIZ. Peak activity was from 1995-1997, though it probably hung on until the turn of the century, and briefly since then every time we host a Blender compo. Neglected for a quarter century, we have a gentlemen's agreement to regroup here when Discord, Slack and Facebook pass intolerable enshittification thresholds. (Facebook, let's be honest, has likely already blown past them.)
