Objective Test Automation Team:

Being able to run a set of automated tests on the Delivery environment with sufficient coverage that generates reports that gives a reliable indication about the quality of the product. We share knowledge and deliver guidelines and give (technical) support to the teams. Team structure and composition

Test automation team - responsible for:

• Nextens test and test automation policy

• Nextens test automation framework

• Coordinating of Delivery regression test set

Automation engineer support - responsible for:

• Mature teams and individual team members in test automation

  • Perform Test Automation Maturity assessment for all teams

  • Perform Test Automation Coverage assessment for all teams and make it visible through a DevOps Dashboard

    • What is test coverage
    • Identify the critical parts
    • The deliverable is a matrix showing the critical level indication and the coverage in the Unit test, Postman or Karate and UI level
    • Based on this matrix, actions can be defined to close critical gaps

  • Support and coach teams in achieving the teams Test Automation objectives, in improving on test coverage and supporting on creating tests on a uniform and maintainable manner

  • Perform assessments and compare with previous assessment

• Onboard new team members in test automation policy and test automation framework
• Monitor within area test automation way of working
• Review within area test automation scripts
