Introduction For 2022 the objective of the Test automation team is to mature the test automation skills, activities and way of working of the agile teams.
In order to do so, activities are defined to reach this goal:
- Perform Test Automation Maturity assessment for all teams
- Perform Test Automation Coverage assessment for all teams and make it visible through a DevOps Dashboard
- What is test coverage
- Identify the critical parts
- The deliverable is a matrix showing the critical level indication and the coverage in the Unit test, Postman or Karate and UI level
- Based on this matrix, actions can be defined to close critical gaps
- Create tailor made PoA with action points for all teams to support the overall objective
- Support and coach teams in achieving the teams Test Automation objectives, in improving on test coverage and supporting on creating tests on a uniform and maintainable manner
- Perform assessments and compare with previous assessment
