To have a roadmap available for coming year with a final set of Features to deliver

• Management, marketing, Sales, Customer Support
• Product Owner (PO)
• Delivery Manager (DM)
• Business Analyst (BA)
• Representatives of Development Team

The client or other stakeholders have wishes. These wishes will be analyzed:

• By the business analyst
  • what is current situation
  • what is the wish or problem to solve (supported by customer interviews, documentation/laws/regulations)
  • what are the alternatives on how to solve it
• By the data analyst
  • what is the potential customer base
  • other data analysis which could be of relevance for supporting the business case

Based on the outcome it will be decided (or not) to put it on a shortlist for the roadmap. During a pokersession with representatives of Management, marketing, Sales, Customer Support and the PO, DM, BA it is decided what will become the roadmap for the upcoming year. This roadmap will be technically analyzed for estimation purposes. This roadmap and its progress is subject for reporting, both in business- and IT-management, including financials and resourcing.

The outcome of the analysis, roadmap and outcome of the pokersession is stored on sharepoint.

Preferably started up in Q3 and finalized in Q4 of the previous year.
