Excel Import

With an excel addon, users are able to import features, user stories and tasks to DevOps. It could be useful to have a certain standardization applied, see below example of a refinement PBI and a Development PBI:

Feature = Feature X

  • PBI = [Feat X] Refinement
    • Task = Refinement feature
    • Task = Tech analysis
    • Task = Test analysis
    • Task = DoR
  • PBI = [Feat X] Development
    • Task = XBRL
    • Task = Reporting
    • Task = UI
    • Task = DoD

In principle the import is on backlog level as you dont know in which sprint it will be picked up, however it is also possible to immediately link it to a sprint by filling in the iteration path. It is also possible only to import User Stories and Tasks, without a feature parent, after the import, the feature must be linked manually to the User Story as a parent.
