To create Product Backlog with epics and features

• Product Owner (PO)
• Delivery Manager (DM)
• Business Analyst (BA)
• Development Team

The roadmap items will be translated into epics/features on the product backlog by the PO, BA and DM. If further analysis is required, the business analyst will be involved, preferably before the feature is taken into the sprint. These Features should be clearly defined, the correct scope for building and should be able to be released and deliver value to clients on its own. Once the backlog is created only the PO/BA/DM creates, splits up or deletes Features, unless otherwise specified by the DM.

Features are created within Epics in the Product Backlog. In addition to this Feature, standard User Stories and standard Tasks are created beneath this Feature for Refinement. The creation of the standard User Stories and Standard tasks can be done via an excel import, in this way there is:

• Uniform naming of standard User Stories
• Standard set of Tasks with uniformed naming
• Have always the DoR (part of Refinement US) and DoD (part of Refinement US) available on the sprint board

Additional User Stories will be created for the Feature during Feature Refinement.

During the inception of the project
