Evaluation

In the evaluation phase we evaluate the results (see at the bottom of the page) and check our hypotheses. Identified issues can go to the next iteration.

What went fine?

First result: It works!

Hypothesis 1:

• We believe that using a face regognition is more comfortable in an office kitchen. We know we are right when 50 users test our solution and 30 users confirm this within a day.

The first hypotheses was right. The identification with a face scanner is more comfortable for users.

Hypothesis 2:

• We believe that with more time-specific coffee profile options, the user is happier.

The second hypotheses was right. Wit more time-specific coffee options the user is happier.

Identified issues:

• Next Calc and Clean
• Next refill water
• Next refill coffee beans
• Feedback options for responsible coffee consumption
• Status and schedules available

Due to interviews and our observations we identied several new issues. Users want to have a status display, which shows the current status of the coffee machine and the planned maintenance interruptions like calc and clean or refill water or coffee beans. Moreover, users remarked that a feedback option would be nice to have for healthy advices. For more comfort it should be possible to see, at which time the coffee machine is busy and which would be the best time spot for have brewed the own coffee.

These issues can be evaluated into the next iteration.

We analyzed the gathered data of the test phase.
