Ruined Forts are new structures added in by Antiquity. They have the ability to spawn in plains, forests, jungles, and taiga forests. They consist of two destroyed rooms full of gravel, one made of Granite and the other made of Andesite.

Ruined Forts' loot primarily consists of Archeological Fragments, sherds, and low to middle-tier items. Their loot can be found in buried Chests, Suspicious Gravels, and hostile entities which call this structure home.

Scrappy Skeletons are a new variant of skeleton that spawn exclusively in Ruined Forts under certain conditions. For one to spawn, the player must either step on, brush, or destroy Scrappy Gravel. They are a generally much more formidable foe than average overworld mobs.
