NYPL ReCAP Hold Request Service

REST API for sending ReCAP hold requests that originate from ReCAP's Shared Collections Service Bus (SCSB) on behalf of member patrons to reserve materials owned by NYPL, Columbia and Princeton and made available from its offsite storage facility, ReCAP.

Requests are validated before being processed via OAuth 2 token/scope analysis.

Provides initial endpoints for:

• New ReCAP hold requests initiated by Discovery and ReCAP user interfaces.
• Cancellation of existing ReCAP hold requests initiated by ReCAP user interface.
