There are no requirements for the body of the robot. Everyone creates their own variant on the Linorobot2. This means everyone has a different robot designed for their own needs. When it comes to deciding on what to use for the robot's body, some things are good to keep in mind:
- the necessary space that's required for the selected hardware.
- being able to attach the motors and sensors (IMU, laser and depth sensor) to the robot in a way that they're not able to move from their position.
Every robot only needs one body.
