Vaccination Queue Notes:

If only one unit triggers vaccination, then the vaccination queue is very simple. Units are vaccinated according to the vaccination capacity that was set in the parameters. However, if multiple units trigger vaccination, there is a possibility for overlap of the units that go into the vaccination queue.

  1. These units in the overlap area are duplicated.

  2. When the unit reaches the top of the vaccination queue, the program determines if it actually needs a vaccination event.

Reasons that a vaccination event may not occur, even though unit is waiting in the vaccination queue, include:

  • Unit previously vaccinated and the time between vaccinations not yet met.
  • Unit already depopulated.
  • Unit infected and detected, parameter set to exclude detected units.

The number of units waiting in the vaccination queue are not a reliable indicator of the work required to carry out a vaccination program.
