Project Overview
Pujaribot is an automated, physical machine designed to perform traditional Hindu daily rituals. It mechanizes essential elements of a daily puja, acting as a physical proxy to assist with worship through automated movements and audio.
Problem Statement
For the elderly, people with physical disabilities, or individuals living away from home without a proper setup, maintaining a daily puja routine can be difficult. Pujaribot solves this by providing a hands-free, automated way to ensure daily worship and rituals are completed with consistency and devotion.
Key Features
- Automated Aarti: A mechanized system that physically rotates the aarti thali (plate) or diya.
- Flower Dispenser: A controlled release mechanism that automatically drops flower petals during the ritual.
- Mechanical Bell: An integrated motor that rings a physical brass bell in rhythm with the prayers.
- Audio Playback: A built-in speaker system programmed to play specific mantras, slokas, and aarti songs simultaneously with the physical actions.
Hardware & Technologies Used
- Microcontroller: [e.g., Arduino Uno / ESP32 / Raspberry Pi]
- Motors: [e.g., Servo motors / Stepper motors for the aarti and flower dispenser]
- Audio: [e.g., DFPlayer Mini module and speakers]
- Components: [e.g., Relay modules, power supply, 3D printed parts]
