Overview

Whenever a player escapes from a predator or a mob is freed from a predator's stomach, they will gain 1 level of Softened for every 20% digested they were. This effect lasts for 15 seconds, but instead of ending after its duration, the effect will be reapplied at 1 lower level if the effect was greater than level 1 (meaning Softened 4 lasts 15 seconds, then decays into Softened 3 for 15 seconds, which then decays into Softened 2 for 15 seconds and finally Softened 1 for 15 seconds).

If a mob with this effect is eaten again, it is instantly removed and they start with digestion progress equal to 10% per level of the effect they had (meaning mobs with Softened 4 start 40% digested).
