BetterEnd

Summary

The BetterEnd mod adds completely new biomes in the end, adding to our already added BYG End biomes, but it also modifies the existing ones as well. Each biome from this mod has its own atmosphere, but also resources to find and mobs to face! The sky in the end is also completely different, along with added custom music, sounds and effects in each biome to make them all look different, which makes it perfect and less boring to explore or adventure in! This mod also adds different structures for the Central Island to make them look more interesting as well. Next to those structures, the islands also have different types of terrain and shapes, but also unique resources that you can find.

The mod features up to 24 new biomes and 6 new mods that will vary depending on what biome they're in! Obviously each biome adds new blocks with 9 different wood types and about 7 new stone types. Thanks to the resources added to each biome and island, you can craft new items such as tools, armour and weapons. Next to that you'll get some more anvil types as well to make everything a bit more fancy looking! It also adds new food types and sources, but the really interesting one is the newly added mechanics like Infusion Rituals, End tool progression and more!

BetterEnd in Shiny SMP pack

We decided to add this mod with the idea in mind that we wanted to expand the End further than just with BYG (also nearly forgetting that mod adds different End biomes too). As mentioned before, the mod adds more adventuring opportunities to a basic vanilla Minecraft and gives players a little bit more of a challenge. Next to that, it ends more to the endgame as well. There's much more to find so the game doesn't just end when you defeat the dragon!
