The Battery - MyLab-odyssey/ED_BMSdiag GitHub Wiki
The Smart electric drive has a liquid cooled traction battery pack. It consists of 93 li-ion cells and has a maximum voltage of 390V. Within the battery pack are three modules with 31 cells. Each cell is kept in a lightweight aluminum frame for stacking.
On top of the module are two cooling plates for heat dissipation by the coolant. Each module has it's own supervisory electronics for voltage measurement and balancing control of the cells. It will also monitor the temperature with three sensors (Theta 1..3)

Insights into the Battery
Thanks to Sonny Dahunsi, I can show some of the insights into a Smart ED3 battery module he opened from a salvage car. His findings will be documented here.
