Model Selection - Mustard2/MustardUI GitHub Wiki
MustardUI provides two ways to bring up the UI for models in the scene. In the Model Selection panel, you can choose between these two options.
Viewport Model Selection (Default)
When Viewport Model Selection is enabled (blue as shown in the figure), the MustardUI panel displays the properties of the currently selected Model in the viewport. The model selection considers: model armature, its Body or its Object children, Outfits or Hair.
This allows you to intuitively access the UI of any model selected in the scene, which is especially useful when multiple MustardUI models are present.
Note
Selecting a model without a MustardUI created, will hide the MustardUI panel.
Direct Model Selection
When Viewport Model Selection is disabled, Direct Model Selection is active. In this mode, the panel displays the properties of the selected model regardless of the object selected in the viewport.
If multiple models are available, you can choose which model to display from the Model Selection panel.
Troubleshooting
Sometimes, especially if models are manually deleted, some Armature data may become dangling or corrupted.
Note
The Deletion and Cleaning tools can be used only in Direct Model Selection.
Tip
To remove a corrupted entry from the model list, click the Broom button. This also automatically purges all unused data from the scene.
