Spot — Moderation

Tools

Spot provides a standard moderation toolset for committee members:

Action	What It Does
Warn	Issue a formal warning, logged to database
Mute	Temporarily restrict a member from sending messages
Kick	Remove a member from the server (they can rejoin)
Ban	Permanently remove a member from the server

Logging

All moderation actions are:

• Stored in the database with the moderator, target, reason, and timestamp
• Posted to the mod log channel as a formatted embed
• Available for review by committee at any time

Philosophy

The society is run with professional standards. Rules exist to protect the community and ensure everyone has a good experience. Moderation is firm but fair — warnings come first, escalation follows if behaviour doesn't change.
