If your jetson orin was manufactured before March 2024 (when jetpack6 was released) then the firmware that accesses the bootloader is out of date!

setup jetpack 6: https://www.jetson-ai-lab.com/initial_setup_jon.html uefi shoudl be greater than 36.3

issue with jetpack6 not booting: enter uefi and check third line under "NVIDIA Orin NX developer KIT" and 'Not Specified" which should be the version number
