Materials needed to get started:

Linking Tool

  • 1x Diamond
  • 1x Stick
  • 1x of Each Dye[Red, Green, Blue] (A good supply of each is optional)

With these you can make the Linking Tool, this is a multipurpose item required to craft a lot of the basic items in the mod, get details about upgraded pedestals, and Link pedestals together.

Next Set of Materials:

Pedestal

  • 2x Stone Slab
  • 4x Stone
  • 1x Linking Tool

With this you can craft the pedestal, pedestals can be used to display items, transfer items (when linked together), and they can be upgraded to preform various functions.

Last set of materials youll need:

Pedestal Upgrade Base

  • 1x Gold Ingot (Honestly youll need a lot more than 1 later on)
  • 1x Linking Tool

With this you can craft the Pedestal Upgrade Base which is used to craft all other types of pedestal upgrades, they can also be smelted back down into gold ingots in case you make to many and need some gold back.

**Optional Materials to Use: **

Color Pallet

  • 1x Paper
  • 1x Linking Tool
  • (A good supply of Red Green and Blue Dye)

Colored Pallet Crafting

With the first two items you can make Color Pallets, these can be colored using RGB into 64 different types. First throw up to 3 of each color on the ground, next throw however many color pallets you want to make colored onto the ground, lastly r-click the ground nearby with the Linking Tool to make Colored Pallets, these can be used on newly placed pedestals to color them. (Pedestals keep their color when broken)

Hints for play:

Getting Started Hints

  • A good portion of upgrades require an inventory of some sort 'Below' the pedestal to pull inputs from.
  • Most Filters also require an inventory below to check to see if items to be passed along match the contents of the inventory.
  • Most upgrades requiring fuel, needs it dropped on top of the pedestal, usually a particle will appear to show the pedestal has fuel.
  • R-clicking on an Upgraded pedestal will bring up details in chat on the pedestal, pedestals with fuel will also display that info in fuel units.
  • 'Area Of Effect' in the tool tip is based on the way the pedestal was placed (pedestals can be placed facing 6 different directions).
  • Pedestal Upgrades have their own unique enchants that enhance them, some can even use Silk touch and Fortune, but require the Anvil Upgrade to apply those 2 enchants.
  • The Enchanter Upgrade can get power from taller bookshelves than normal.
  • The Anvil Upgrade requires up to 4 pedestals placed around it, where enchanted items/books/nametags can go, to be applied to the items being combined.
