Mine a block from the bottom side of the pedestal (it can insta-mine obsidian)
Like any other upgrade you can change the way it places by utilizing the placement angle
Can be enchanted using the fortune and silk touch enchant

The block breaker can be enchanted using the range enchant and the speed enchant
The range enchant will make it that the block breaker will only break block in it's specified range, for an example in the default upgrade the block breaker will break the block in the front of it but with range enchant I it'll break the block in the 2 block away from it and every level will increase the range which it can break block with max range of 16 and with each level it'll increase the range by 1,2,4,4,4
The speed enchant will speed up the delay between it's operation,for further information please check the Enchantments tab
Block breaker can be equipped with an axe and it will utilize it's enchant
Block breaker will prioritize the axe enchantment if it's equipped with an axe otherwise it'll use the pedestal enchantment
