Making Colored Pedestals
Step 1:
To start you'll need a normal Pedestal, or if you already have a Colored Pedestal, that will work as well.
- 2x Stone Slab
- 4x Stone
- 1x Linking Tool
Okay, Place the pedestal down somewhere.
Step 2:
Make yourself some Color Pallets. (You can re-use Colored Pallets too)
- 1x Paper
- 1x Linking Tool
- (A good supply of Red Green and Blue Dye)
Pallets can be colored using RGB into 64 different types.
- First throw up to 3 of each color on the ground.
- Next throw however many Pallets you want to make colored onto the ground.
- Lastly r-click the ground nearby with the Linking Tool to make Colored Pallets.
Step 3:
Using Colored Pallets on Pedestals.
Colored Pallets can be used on newly placed or existing pedestals to color them.
- Right click any pedestal with a Colored Pallet right after you've just placed it down.
- Once Colored it will Keep its color when broken.
Pedestals As Lights
To make a Pedestal Light Up, R-Click on it with a block of Glowstone.
- You'll get the glowstone back when you break the pedestal.
Pedestals In Water
To submerge a Pedestal in water, Place it in water, Or Place a water bucket in the same block space as the pedestal.
- This is really useful for farms as it is a water source block to keep your field moist.
